Our Story

Small Town Radio Playhouse (STRaP) is the brain-child of Tony Phillips.

Inspired by a televised radio-on-stage performance of “It’s A Wonderful Life” several years ago, the idea of founding a radio theatre group lay dormant in the back of his mind until he got involved with the Gibson County Theatre Company‘s production of “The Diary of Anne Frank” in the fall of 2011. Today, STRaP has grown from one man’s dream to the collaborative work of a large and varied group of people, involving a wide range of talents.
